Does anyone have an auricula theatre?
I have seen these on the Internet and am quite keen to start one.

Thank you Owdboggy. That has given me some ideas.
I'm still at the learning stage, trying to find out which type I prefer, how to care for them, etc.
Would a north facing wall be OK for the theatre?
What a magnificent garden you have, it's just beautiful!

North facing would be o.k. in Spring and Summer, but you would have to protect your plants in Winter. I take mine into the poly tunnel over winter for safety.

Thank you. Do you grow a variety of different auriculas, or do you stick to one type?

I grow mostly Border and Alpines as they were the easiest to get hold of when I began.

Please could you tell me--is there a best time to buy auriculas? Would that be when they are in flower, so you can see what you're getting?

Definitely. Also when buying check out the roots for vine weevil grubs and or root aphids. I bought some from Hillview Hardy plants a few years back and they were riddled with root aphids.
Not sure where your nearest specialist seller is though so you may be in to Mail order.
If you fancied a drive down the A55 you could come and help yourself to some seedling unnamed ones from me.

That's very kind, Owdbuggy. I would love to come and pick up some seedlings, thank you.
Thanks also for the warning about vine weevils.....I have a lot to learn.

I have one. Not like the fancy ones that you see in 'posh' gardens. Mine is just a set of black painted shelves against a North west facing wall.
I would add an image if there was a means of doing it in an answer.
Edited to add.
Look at my Blog, Mobile in May and scroll right down to the last few images. It is there with some of my Auriculas.
