I have a tree like cordyline,it flowered this year now all the leaves have gone brown and fallen off. what has happed was I ment to cut the flower off.Well it grow back again please help

Hi Debbie. Just leave for now. Hopefully shoots will appear lower down the stem or even at the base which will grow back relatively quickly. This "dying" may well be due and be an after effect of the cold winter we have just had. Many shoot back from their bases.
