why is my pussy willow bloom catkins in late August, it had bloomed this February already, what's happen?

It's confused by the weather conditions - after a long time of heat and no rain, end of July and most of August has been cool with plenty of rain, and we've just had a warmer spell - your plant thinks its spring. It happens with all kinds of plants at times... With luck, you may still get some catkins next year in spring.
