While harvesting potatoes on our allotment the wyzels on some have what resembles a small tomato? what could this be?

hi it is the fruit of the potato plant. they are poisonous so do not eat them. potatoes and tomatoes are in the same botanical group that is why they have similar flower structures and fruits.
