I'd keep them in the pots in the cold greenhouse. the stems will die back and then new shoots from soil level in the spring. they wont need much water unless they get very dry. what size pots are they in?

I don't know, Huffmaling. Division and cuttings are usually done in spring but it is always worth trying to see what happens. You could do both but I expect they would do better in the greenhouse unless they go mouldy.
