Some of my orla organic potatoes have a scab on them and some of them have split, any ideas on what the causes could be, and remedies for the future, and most important are they still edible

The scab and the splits aren't a problem for the potatoes being eaten. We've noticed splits in some of our organically grown potatoes this year. This is supposedly caused by lack of watering but we have had a lot of rain here this year.
