I am trying to put a name to a climbing plant I saw growing over a fence in Spean Bridge, Scotland. The blossom was a very pale lilac on the outside, very pale yellow in the centre - looked like a double rose, cup shaped, about 1.5/2 inches across, beautiful light purfume. Probably a rose, something like 'Escapade' or 'Vielchenblau', although the latter is sold as thornless (isn't always though, lol).
