Plant used as centrepiece in floral displays in Coventry this summer. It has no flowers but beautiful brownish leaves which have frilled edges and a greenish iridescent tinge round the edges. The leaves vary in size the largest being the size of the palm of your hand. Tried in vain to contact our Council with no luck. Ive got a photo on my mobile and ordinary camera but dont know how to e-mail it. Anyone from Coventry maybe could help me if they have seen this plant in the displays (which have just been redone by the way with autumn pansies etc).

Wasn't a Coleus called Chocolate Mint, was it? Or maybe Coleus Vino Sun, image in the link below, you'll need to copy and paste into your browser

Alternatively, Google "coleus 'chocolate' ", select images, loads of different pics there

Download the photo onto your laptop, tablet etc. the easiest place to put it is on the desktop. There are several ways to download it here but probably the easiest is to first download the photo onto your laptop, tablet etc. The easiest place to put it is on the desktop. Then on Goy click on your avatar which takes you to your profile page. Right at the top of the page o the right is Your Options. Click there and choose Add a Photo, and follow the on screen instructions. Tell us when this has worked and we can then look at your photo file and see the pic.

I wonder if it was ricinus the true castor oil plant. google it for images and see if it is a match. Our council often use it in bedding arrangements.
