Very difficult question to answere, Taurman, in a generalistic manner. If you have an unheated greenhouse then your succulents amy benefit for being taken into there. Alpines would prefer not to have too much overhead water in winter, so can you place covers over them? Otherwise, they take their chance.

It does depend on the variety of succulents - house leek (Sempervivum) survive quite happily outdoors, but, as Bulbaholic says, they do not like being rained on all the time in winter much. If they're more tender succulents, such as Aeonium or Echevera, these may need to be brought indoors.

Thank you both that’s helpful, Bamboo on of them is Sempervivum and by the look and feel I guessed it’s a tough old bird.
