can I bring it in the winter in the pot to allow it to live and bloom again next year. I live in Canada where I am in zone 5, but I love this plant and would love to keep it. If I leave it outside and plant it in the ground, will double wrapping it in burlap help to keep it alive

When you say 'it', I assume you mean your plant,but you haven't said what it is... impossible to answer without knowing which plant.
