99% sure its Cotoneaster salicifolius, but a pic in daylight would be helpful if that's not the one. Google it to check

Thankyou both. I think cotoneaster salicifolius is the right one. I can't take another photo because it is not in my garden and I can't go to get a better picture.

C.salicifolius isn't that common, so the size of leaf probably threw you off...

I would a said Cotoneaster 'Cornubia' as it the most common variety.

I grow C. cornubia, and the leaves on that seem just a bit smaller/shorter than the ones in the photo Jimmy, but maybe it is

My initial thought was a Sorbus but the leaves aren't right. could you add another photo of the whole tree please. What sort of height is it and how is it growing
