Hi, I have a Monkey Puzzle that is approx 15 feet high, unfortunately too large for my garden now but don't want to just fell it, would love to know if there is anywhere I can donate this to, problem being they would need to uproot and remove, I'am in LS27 West Yorkshire, please advise if this is possible and who to contact. Thanks Annette.

Hi Annette anwelcome to GoY, to be honest I doubt you are going to find a home for your tree but, good luck!

Local public parks and gardens might be interested. An estate might be interested, too, but I wouldn't know who to get in touch with for that.

Sorry but honestly I don't think its worth trying. They are not scarce trees and moving one that size would take a lot of effort with no guarantees of success. Its common round here to see them in small front gardens where they have quickly out grown their space. The fact that its not common to see one at its mature height speaks for itself!
When you choose something to replace it its a good idea to check the eventual size. Not necessarily the one on the label, as that is usually size after 10 years, and trees and shrubs usually live a lot longer than that and keep on growing... You need to google eventual size.
