hello all
I have begonias growing in my window boxes and would like to know if I can keep them in throughout the winter or if I have to pull them out when they eventually die off.

I know tuberous Begonias are perennials but bedding Begonias are usually treated as half hardy annuals.

Even the tuberous ones can't be left outside over winter, MG, but you can save the rhizomes for next year, if that's what they are, by lifting the plants, letting the topgrowth die back, then clean and dry the rhizomes and store somewhere frost free over winter.
