I bought an Alstromeria earlier this year and it is still flowering. Will it come back next year and should I cut it down now, even though it is in flower rather late (we've had a few frosts). I'd appreciate your advice, as it is a lovely plant.

Agree with Andrew, just leave it to get on with it. I don't even cut them down, I just clear away the dead in spring.

Thank you both, I'll leave it to die off naturally and hope it comes back next year.

Mine has started flowering again. Let it just do its own thing - nature will sort it out.
