I planted what I thought was a mix of white and purple allium a year ago but they all came up purple with 1 lot flowering earlier than the other. The earlier ones were purple sensation which grow to 90 cm tall. This autumn I have purchased white Mount Everest and have put them into individual pots to start growth and then will know where to place them when the purple ones appear. (I hope ).

purple sensation are about 90cm tall so are quite similar in height and flower early summer. I cant think of a taller variety though.

A. Mars grows to 120cm at the same time as A. Mount Everest.
