my question was i have put potted astibe in a warm green house will they be ok

Hi, they would probably be better off either planted straight into the ground, as long as it isn't frozen or waterlogged, but if you want to keep them in pots, then a cold frame would be ideal, left in a warm greenhouse they will go ''soft'' and need hardening off before being planted out in spring, Derek.

They are perennials and require a winter dormancy period.
