Does any one grow Ribes laurifolium?

My girls have bought me this as an early mothers day gift. Question really is, is it susceptible to honey fungus like the 'bog standard' flowering currant?

its a lovely healthy looking plant so I need to place it somewhere where it will survive.
thanks I advance.

On plant Ribes

SBG, I would have thought that it is no different to Ribes laurifolium, but perhaps planting with Rootgrow might give some protection as it does when planting on contaminated land.

it is a R laurifolium so you suspect no different to R sanguineum. rootgrow doesn't protect against HF according to an rhs advisory panel member I asked years ago. Thanks for your response jummy :o)

According to Burncoose Nurseries they list it as one of the problems this particular plant may be susceptible to.
The RHS have a list of plants and their level of susceptibility to honey fungus. They mention Ribes (variety not specified) as susceptible but further down they list plants with a decreasing or no risk. Would it work to site near those types of non susceptible plants already in your garden.
