ID Question. I've found this in my border. I doubt it is self-seeded but think I must have planted it a long time ago and forgotten about it. Any idea what it is? I have a vague idea it might be a Salix of some kind? Many thanks, K

I have some willow cuttings growing on my allotment not sure what type they are but the new foliage and stem colour are very similar.

Hi Karen, it could be more or less anything at this time of year, lots of new growth looks like this, but I think it could possibly be a Deutzia of some sort, Derek.
