Could it be stagshorn? The branch system looks similar along with typical loss of lower branch growth.

Difficult to say from those pictures, they seem to have a purple coloration on them.We also need to see more of the tree, like the trunk, but on current showing, IF the leaves are actually black or dark brown, it could be Sambucus nigra Black Lace or Black Beauty but that's just a guess.
