Hi all

Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep mice away from young plants

Hi, the best way is to get rid of any piles of debris, where they can hide or nest, and rake up anything which gives them cover, then put down some traps containing either Brodifacoum, or Bromadiolone, both of which are fast acting, unlike baits containing warfarin, actually I think warfarin has been replaced in the U K byBromadiolone, but keep the traps away from pets and children, Derek.

Are you sure that is mice that are eating you young plants? I have only found mice to eat pea and bean seeds, sweet pea seeds and snowdrop bulbs.

citrus peels work with squirrels & so does vacuum cleaner fluff. Nothing goes near it. Empty the vacuum cleaner around your vegetables - adds a little free fertilizer too.

How do I say thanks?
