Sick daphne. This plain daphne odora suffered winter damage, is a poor flowerer anyway but now has developed spotting on yellowing leaves which then fall. The 'Rebecca' a few feet away is fine (at the moment). Is it a virus infection or nutritional deficiency. It's in the ground in sun from about 11 am.

Daphne Odora does tend to be only semi-evergreen; in fact my one loses virtually all its leaves. Having said, it looks like tiny shot holes so I would treat it with a systemic fungicide, a mulch and a feed and wait and see.
