Hi my apple tree didn't produce any leaves this year and now i've noticed what looks like a rusty colour on the bark
It looks like it's still alive what can I do to help it?

If it didn't produce any leaves at all this year, and the bark is now discolored, I'd have it removed, sounds as if its dying or at least very unhealthy. Is it very old?
