I planted these Acer plants recently( Young plants). They are situated in a shady spot behind a wind barrier for protection from the wind, they receive a little sunshine only in the morning untill about ten-o-clock. Can some-one tell what's wrong with them by looking at the photo?
Thank you very much for you advice and that is exactly what I have done (Put them in pots and moved them to a more restfull spot for the time being)

Thats windburn. They may be behind a barrier but the wind has been whipping round and over the barrier. The barrier is too solid; can you put themin pots for the time being and locate the pots between larger, shrubby plants.
