I have lillies outdoors ( I thought they were Arum but my husband says the lable said Calla ) They have done really well with lots of flowers which have been there since July , but now inside the centre they are getting bulbus and look kind of like a bunch of grapes . Is this normal or do I have something wrong with them ? The plant still looks very healthy apart from this is some of the flowers.
Many thanks for your thoughts

Hi ,
Thanks so much for that . I thought they were looking a bit deformed but have never grown lillies before .
What do I do with them , do I have to dry them ?

If they really are Calla lilies you will need to lift the rhizomes after the first frost and store somewhere cool, dry, dark and frost free over winter. If you want to grow the seed in the seed pods try doing a google search on growing Calla lilies.

Estrella, I grow these and I cut off the seed pods (unless you want the seed) and let the whole plant die back in the greenhouse over winter keeping them dry, come spring I re-pot them in fresh compost and start again.

Your lily flowers are producing seed pods.
