I planted a kolomikta actinidia about two months ago, it’s growing but no sign of the pink leaves only brown scorched ones. Could it be the hot weather or something else. It’s watered every evening and is planted on a south facing wall.

I have found that only leaves that grow earlier in the season get the pink and white zones on them. One year, all the leaves got hit by a late frost, and all the regrowth remained green that year; the following year, 'normal' service was resumed

I suspect the brown crispy bits would have been the pink parts had the sun not scorched them.
