I purchased some giant lilies from the TV shopping channel and they have now finished flowering, how do I overwinter them?
they are in pots at present can I leave then in the pots?

You can leave them in the pots but you may get unwanted visitors. Vine weevil grubs noshing the roots and later on visits from the red lily beetle. Put the pots somewhere to dry out and then remove the lily and store in a dry airy frost free place. Return to a nice big pot next spring and start afresh.
