During this very hot weather the leaves of my Crinodendron have become brown and dry and a lot have dropped off. Will it recover and should I prune it. It has been kept watered.

I don't grow this but I think i'd leave it alone for now and see how it perks up later. remove any obvious dead growth to keep it looking tidy.
