I grew these for the first time last year and I have bought lots more this year. The scent is wonderful.

It had a name change and was moved into the Gladiolus family, so it is now Gladiolus murielae. Needs winter protection as it comes from northeastern Africa.

Oh heck. I've only just managed to remember Acidanthera...and I do remember once being corrected when I called it a gladiolus: so remember folks - I got there first...

this is a good sized flower. I rarely get flowers but lots of leaf.

When the flowers are half open they look like bells. I didn't label them. Many thanks for any suggestions/help.
