try black nightshade. I thought you said you thought it was a chilli plant perhaps I mis read it.

Definitely black nightshade. It's a common weed even here in the desert.

Thank you all. I will be getting rid of it later. Sooooo glad I didn’t eat it, thinking it was some kind of chilli plant! (That’s what the label said!)

Maybe you should tell the place where you got it that it was mislabelled.
