Yes I agree it's Tamarix, I have one in my garden. It's very pretty in spring and early summer.

Thank you both !! I’ve been trying to find out what this is,,,for years! .....

But Tamarix ramosissima 'Pink Cascade' is deciduous, not evergreen, so far as I know...

True, Bamboo! It's a common mistake, though: when it's in leaf, it does resemble an "evergreen" of the cypress family.
I occasionally get customers recently transplanted from more northerly climates, and they say, "Do you have any evergreens?", when 99% of the trees and shrubs that I sell are evergreen. Of course, what they are looking for is something like a pine or juniper, because the only things that are evergreen where they come from are conifers.

How depressing, not having any evergreens in winter other than coniferous ones... you can't beat the bright yellow and green coloration on, say, Euonymus japonicus in winter... though conifers certainly have their place.

Yes, most of the northern interior U.S. is a good deal colder in winter than anywhere in the UK. With a few exceptions, such as American Holly, non-coniferous plants drop their leaves in the winter, hopefully leaving attractive bark or berries, etc.

How do I say thanks?
