Do you just need to mark the boundary? Or do you need to exclude wildlife--four-legged or two-legged? ;)

Hi Tugbrethil - mark the boundary, although excluding wildlife is also a good idea :)

If it is just to define the boundary then a low stone wall just a couple of feet high would do it but if you need to keep deer out then you would need a wire fence. This could just be two or three single wires from the top of the wall.
Maybe some decking behind the wall for a raised seating area.

Maybe a wrought iron fence, though that's usually pricy. I hope Belgium isn't too much like Arizona: some places here, the only thing that keeps out the two-leged wildlife is razor wire.
