You asked this question a week or so ago, and were asked if these pots will be in sun or shade, so can you give us that information please?

The pots will be in full sun

Full sun is a bit more difficult because you will need to water very frequently. Plants like Camellia and Pieris prefer partial shade, but you need also to bear in mind that if you choose larger shrubs like the two mentioned, they will eventually (after a few years) outgrow even the largest pot, and will need to be potted on regularly as they grow. For instance, I have a bottlebrush (Callistemon) in a pot nearly 2 feet deep by 12 inches wide - and when it outgrows that, I won't be giving it a bigger one, but its taken some years to get to a pot that size.

Smaller shrubs that will tolerate full sun include Euonymus fortunei varieties, Lavender (preferably a smaller variety, check height and spread when choosing), Spiraea Goldflame/Gold mound/Magic Carpet (deciduous), Yucca flaccida or Yucca filamentosa varieties if you don't mind despining the thorny tips (not Yucca gloriosa, gets way too large), Phormium varieties, smaller varieties of Lilac such as Syringia 'palibin'. All should be potted into something that leaves a maximum of 1-2 inches of space around the rootball, then moved into larger pots as they grow.
