Just looking for a bit of advice. This year I grew the Giant Trailing Double Flowered Fuchsia variety 'peachy' in hanging baskets and was wondering if they hardy and would grow back next year especially if I took the baskets indoors over the winter or whether they are purely an annual variety.

When you bring them in cut off most of the long trailing branches but leave some shorter ones so they can die back gradually.. Put them in a cool light place until the leaves drop and then keep them dry in a shady very cool place (like an unheated bedroom or frost proof garage until the spring.
In about mid April bring them into a warmer light place and spray the stems with tepid water several times a week, and begin very restrained watering. When you see new shoots emerging you can cut off last years dead stems and repot.

Hi, they are a perennial species, but unfortunately not hardy, they need to be taken into somewhere frost free before the first hard frost, Derek.
