Hi this is for Jimmyttheone who answered my last question, I know this probably a daft question however I've just dug up the Dahlias and need to know should I trim the roots of the tubers? Thanks again

I would just clean them off of any soil and let them dry out. The roots will shrivel up and can be removed as will any remaining top growth. Then store them in a dark, frost free situation in among some dry sand, sawdust or dry peat.

I also stand mine upside down to help any sap in the stems drain out too. then they get cleaned of any soil and put in dry sawdust, kept frost free until spring.
