I would like to buy the Salix Integra Flamingo but am a little confused regarding the variety. Some nurseries are selling a variety called Salix integra 'Flamingo' (Dappled willow 'Flamingo'), then there is the Salix integra 'Hakuro Nishiki' (Dwarf Japanese willow). Then there are other nurseries who claim they are the same variety. I
I would like the smallest shrub (not the tree) with the brightest colours, if it exists.

Yes I have had the Acer Negundo in one of my previous gardens, it was really lovely, sadly it is much too large for my tiny 24' x 24' garden that I have now.
Thank you Bamboo for settling my confusion with the Salix. I kept seeing so many reviews on the internet all contradicting each other, and the same when I have spoken to nurseries. Some were saying that it is a new variety, much brighter and more compact than the Hauro Nishki. But as they are the same I will just go ahead and order from whoever has it in stock. The shrub version seems to be quite hard to find at the moment

Hmm, I haven't seen a shrub type one for ages, they all seem to be half standards.

I just found a 2litre on ebay. a bit risky buying from there but I had to give it a go. So I am apprehensive and excited at the same time

Next question
They are the same variety - this particular one is often sold as "flamingo", which is very confusing, really, because there's an Acer negundo 'flamingo' which is a totally different plant.
