What can I grow for a competition for a drought garden

Answers
Scotsgran is right - and another source of inspiration would be by looking at Beth Chatto's dry garden and seeing what she's planted there. You can take a look on line if it's impossible to visit it in Essex. She's also written excellent books on the subject that you could borrow from the library, complete with plant lists. "The Dry Garden" is the best in your situation.
