I planted afew hundred gladoili bulbs and all have flowered .im wondering now if i need to dig them up or when im cutting the garden with ride on mower can i cover the bulbs with grass cuttings to protect from winter.i dont really want the bother of digging up again.i have a large garden to cut so grass cuttings are not a problem.
thanks

Gladioli are supposed to be dug up, cleaned and stored over winter somewhere dry and frost free, although its the wet that gets them in the ground as much as anything - they rot in winter wet.
