how to remove grass from soil

Answers

If you mean odd clumps of grass, dig them out, removing the roots. If you mean getting rid of turf, cut it into manageable sized pieces with a half moon edger, then lever the turves out, scrape off some of the soil onto the ground, stack the turves somewhere out of the way to rot down.
