The nibbling bugs & slugs seem to like it? Might be rose bay willow herb?

the edges look serrated so I wondered if it is a veronica or eupatorium [joe pye weed a native plant]
if you didn't plant it then it has come in as seed from somewhere. if you don't want it it is a weed!
When this happens to me I usually pot it up until I know what it is. then if I like it I keep it, if not compost it. that way it wont invade the garden.
