Pruning jasmine?
Have 2 jasmines climbing up the house wall on the patio, one is a couple of years old, never flowered last year, the other one I bought last year in flower and flowered beautifully all summer, they are now looking very sad because I didn’t know about pruning them, horribly woody at the bottom,I’ve just given them a sort of prune! Do you think they’ll recover? I’ve looked it up and they should have been pruned after flowering!

as long as it has leaves it will be fine. you may well have pruned off this years flowers though. Give it a light prune in early September.
