Depending on it's size, you can move it now. First of all, prepare the hole for it's new home. Add plenty of leafmould or garden compost but not bonemeal as this contains lime, which Rhodos hate.Dig it out with as much of the rootball as you can. Plant it in the new hole to the same level as it was before. Water really well with rainwater and keep it well watered all next year too. If it's large you could trim back some of the larger branches to help it recover from the move.
