Hi
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what type of beetle this is. He was a tough nut, he had a fight with a spider then climbed up my window frame to have a drink of the fresh water I was using to clean the windows with!

I had that in my garden recently with 'go away' yellow and black stripes on his backside. All the others were a greeny colour

there are about 30 british species of sheild bugs. they are wonderful insects.
