Should you cut off the leaves and flowers after the plant has flowered?

On plant Acanthus

Answers

You can leave the flower stems if you want to - the frost on them makes a good feature. The leaves will start to die back soon - and if you want to tidy the plant up, they pull off easily. You can cut the flower stems back at the same time, if you don't like the look of them.
