Morning all
This hydrangea as grown to big for the pot could I transplant it into the ground today or is it the wrong time I have a space for it in my front garden

As long as you give it a good soaking when planting and keep an eye on it for the near future, there is no reason why you cannot plant it out now.

What an unusual colour - I hope it stays like that once in the ground. My red one has gone purple...suggest if your pH is over 6 you mix a lot of ericaceous compost with the soil.

I'm going potty. Its an alkaline soil you need for a red one so scrub the ericaceous, I must have been half asleep...
