I recieved this only 2 weeks ago as a gift and feel I may have already lost it? I'm not a gardener but really wanted to start collecting house plants. Now half of this plant has fallen.leaves are drooping and no more sign of life as leaves fall. maybe i over watered, i've stopped watering and been leaving it out in the sun. should I cut the leaves off? or wait? please help, I love this plant it was so nice!

I can't say if it will recover but please put it in the shade, sunshine will make even some well rooted plants droop at times.
