Who is guest?

I have an old apple tree in my garden which bears many fruits. However they always fall before ripe. This has gone on for meny years now. Is there ought I can do?

I wonder if it makes too many apples and when they reach a certain size the tree protects itself by shedding some or even all. If it is possible you could try thinnig them out at an earlier stage. Maybe it needs a good prune, as it is older and still thin out. Try googling about pruning older fruit trees.
