I have Allium Bulbs (Allium Christophii) which I grew in Pots outdoors. I have cut back the stems as they have finished flowering but should I now lift, dry and store the Bulbs or can I keep them in the pots but store indoors over winter to prevent rot/winter wet affecting them.

I tend to knock them out check they are firm and repot in fresh compost and leave them outside next to the wall of the house. those in the ground just get ignored. I don't keep them out of compost at all. if you want to keep them frost free they will be happy with that too.

I leave mine in the pots, and outside, and they come back perfectly for at least one more year.

How do I say thanks?
