can you plant the dutch iris seeds collected from the seed pods?

On plant Iris xiphium

Answers

Yes, but they may not sprout if they were not pollinated or our summer isn't hot enough to ripen them. Seeds are always worth a go, sometimes you are lucky. Try some now and some in spring, in small pots in a greenhouse etc.
