Lily of the valley. It's nearly October and the leaves are still good but limp. Should I snip them off for new growth next year or leave them to eventually rot? TIA

I'd just leave it to nature to sort out. Let them rot off & it will all finish up back in the soil

Hi, I agree, if you have it, you can mulch with leaf mould, Convallaria majalis is hardy to group 7, so is completely hardy anywhere in the UK or Europe, Derek.
