We have removed what i think is a virginia creeper from a wall of our house, as it was going mad and blocking the gutters. a large stum remains in the ground which is too difficult to get out, and has many roots going off it. Is there any plant killer we can poor on the stump to stop it growing back??

I would drill holes in the stump, and pour in something like SBK Brush Killer, straight from the bottle, trying not to get any on the ground. That gets rid of it about 90% of the time.
